Balmoral Line

The Balmoral Line was a cross country route which provided part of a direct connection between Horsham and Portland. Although the line has been dismantled, the permanent way is still owned by VicTrack as there is a possibility the line may be restored for mineral sands traffic. The line was closed in sections with the final section at the northern end closing in the late 1980s.
