Ringwood Station is a major junction station where the Healesville and Gembrook lines split. All Connex passenger trains stop at this station with some local shuttle services terminating her from Belgrave or Lilydale to join other connecting services. In peak times there are also some services from the City which terminate here. Until recently this station had 2 platforms however a third platform was constructed in the late 1990s to the rear of the then UP platform. Platform 3 contains a staffed waiting room but is not always in use.
